The payment for the hired car is made in cash or via credit/debit card upon vehicle delivery (no deposit is necessary). In special cases you might be asked to provide a deposit in advance for your booking (you will be informed if you need to do so from our reservation department).
Optional Insurance does not cover damages caused to the lower body of the car and the tyres.
You are insured for cases of injury or third parties’ property damage besides the driver and the passengers of the rented vehicle.
You bear no financial responsibility in cases of car theft. Your personal belongings are not covered.
The Insurance against Fire covers the damage caused in the rented vehicle due to fire, lightning or explosion.
If you need to cancel 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery of the vehicle there is no commitment. For cancellations made in less than 24 hours from the scheduled delivery of the vehicle the cancellation fee is the same as the amount that was given as a guarantee for the reservation of the vehicle.
In case of car keys’ loss, it is required that you immediately inform us so that we can provide you with a replacement key. The cost of the replacement key falls upon the renter and is not covered by any insurance.
The fuels are paid by the renter and the renter has the responsibility to return the car with the tank full up to the point it was when the vehicle was delivered to the renter.
You are solely responsible for the cost of any parking ticket or other fines that arise during the use of the vehicle. The provider will transfer to the renter the relevant cost plus any administrative expenses.
Returning the vehicle before the completion of the rental period
No fees are refunded if the hired vehicle is returned before the designated return time.
For services provided out of the working hours (21.00-07.30) there is an extra cost of 20.00 euros/per service.
A valid driving license as well as an id are required. For non-European citizens an international Driving License is required.
Reservations are confirmed for a standard group of cars-not for a specific make. Any cars advertised are typical examples of a specific size, performance levels that apply for the specific car group.
It is not permitted for the rented vehicles to be taken/used outside Crete.
When the driver is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
When in the event of an accident the driver does not stop and fails to proceed to the required actions like informing our company; the Traffic Department(100), requiring the names and addresses of the people involved in the accident, and not removing the car from the accident site unless a representative from the Insurance company or the Traffic Department arrives on the spot.
When the client uses the rented vehicle for illegal actions like: smuggling; theft; illegal transfer of goods and objects.
When the driver is not mentioned in the Rental Agreement.
When the driver is driving the vehicle without obeying the Highway/Driving Code e.g. not conforming to the traffic lights indicators, the STOP signs, the speed limit or driving in the opposite lane etc..
